BATTLE OF THE VOICES

Battle of the Voices is a karaoke competition where contestants will be faced with competing against one another in a battle-based form to earn a "chair" and attempt to move on to the next round.

Audience members will have the chance to vote for the contestants each week.

Battle of the Voices will be livestreamed weekly on Facebook.

Corey Day

BIO

From a very young age, Corey’s life revolved around music and the opportunity to share that gift with others. After taking piano and vocal lessons for a few years, Corey began starring in musical productions at his school. After high school, Corey was cast as a singer in Fusions Productions multi-art shows at Casino New Brunswick and performed in this role two years in a row. Corey has also competed in a few singing competitions in the last few years, most notably last year placing 2nd place in another major competition. Corey was also recently crowned the Winner of Slay the Stage 2024 and will be opening for The Winner of Canada's Drag Race 2020, Priyanka, at the Moncton River of Pride event this summer.

Floras Demez

BIO

Floras is part of a 3 generation family of musicians. At the age of 4, she performed songs from her culture (MikMak) in front of a crowd of 300 people. She has also done several shows with her parents performing western blues and classic rock. At the age of 14, she was part of her first music group Anavrin, a punk and grunge group as singer and bass player. Anavrin means Nirvana in reverse.

Floras is not new to judging many karaoke competitions and looks forward to coaching contestants to be the best they can be as she has done in the past with children and teenagers.

MARK BEERS

BIO

Mark Beers know as Mark Marx is a singer/song writer , who has been performing for over 45 years. Fronting several Bands , including Libertys Children, Tunnel and Project MARX , Mark has also been a feature singer in Moncton's long time production of the Living Christmas tree.

Mark was recently a judge in the Singing competition Kegler's Karaoke Star, had the time of his life and decided to return as a judge once again!
